The place of action is taken by Russia in 2049, in the midst of a "digital" epidemic. Due to the negligence of the current government, the situation is getting out of control, panic engulfs all cities, there is enough medicine for one person out of five, doctors are forced to cast lots. The main character, in order to get a "dose" for his mother, using his official position, bypasses the draw. But sometimes, the price for such selfish decisions turns out to be too high.
